Update - our game got 4th place!!
Out of around 2300 initial entries, our game, Shifty Li'l Wizzlers, got 4th place overall! 🤯🤯
This was my first time doing any game dev work (and obviously my first game jam too) so I'm completely amazed we did so well. I was incredibly lucky to work with such an amazing team and it's funny to think I was only involved because one of the coders found my art stream randomly on Twitch.
Once I agreed to join the team I decided to take the project very seriously and cleared my freelance schedule for the week so I could dedicate my time to the jam and I probably put in an average of 10 to 12hrs a day. I learned so much and I can't wait to be involved in another project asap!
